Research

TRIP applies the latest technology and scientific concepts to research within four platforms which cover therapeutic areas with unmet medical need: multiple sclerosis, pain, inflammatory resolution, sepsis and scleroderma. All stages of drug R&D, from target validation to clinical trials, are represented. TRIP accommodates graduate students from various disciplines (biochemistry, pharmaceutical technology, biology, medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, pharmacy, cell biology, physiology, pharmacology and clinical pharmacology). Supervisors are either affiliated with the Faculties of Medicine, Biochemistry, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences or the Fraunhofer Project Group for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology (TMP).
